THE art and olfaction Septimus Piesse VISIONARY Award

This award is given on an annual basis to an outstanding person or collective showing proof of exceptional vision with regards to how scent is used, developed, or imagined.

Award qualifications:

• The awardee will have initiated a project unlike others in the field, that relates to or incorporates scent. This project may be in any medium, including writing, art, perfume, technology, or other. 
• The awardee will have made a significant and unique impact on the perception of scent as a valid expression of culture.

The winner of the Art and Olfaction Septimus Piesse Visionary Award is decided at the sole discretion of the Institute for Art and Olfaction team, with input from the judges, award partners and colleagues in the industry. 

The winner will be announced yearly, at the Art and Olfaction Awards.
